Straight outta San Jose, CA, Melody embodies the classic Bay Area gal stereotype by majoring in computer science. Her favorite pastime is reenacting scenes from Parasite but playing every character herself. Melody got her name after her parents noticed she had no sense of pitch. This is why she serves as our pitch pipe — the starting note for every song is a complete surprise! Melody also brings the group’s sound together by using her high soprano voice to produce tones that only dogs can hear. This is why her biggest goal in life is to buy a giant mansion to house all the abandoned dogs in the world.

Astounding alto Anna comes from the land of Manhattan, New York. Her favorite food being the impossible burger, she beats the impossible by not only solving a Rubix cube in 30 seconds but also lifting weights and beating everyone she encounters in arm wrestling. With her favorite face cream being java chip—coffee ice cream with chocolate chips—Anna retains not only many talents but also clean skin.

Seattle-born and Denver-raised, Andrew is a spunky sociology major with pre-medical aspirations. A considerate young lad who could burst into song at any moment, Andrew hopes to become a trauma surgeon in the future (though, his career goals are quite ironic, considering he is a violist…). Speaking of violists, Andrew Jung is a violist. On a good day, his left arm smells like freshly squeezed pomegranates—who doesn’t love that!—and his favorite weather is Sunny With A Light Breeze.

Ben, a terrific tenor, is from Orange County, California, but was Born in Korea (which is what his initials actually stand for). His musical capabilities are out of this world - he plays piano, a few chords on the ukulele and guitar, and one (1) single song on the violin. You might catch him solving a Rubik’s cube (but be quick! he does it in under 13 seconds), eating Chipotle, or he’ll tell you what note your last sneeze fell on! Majoring in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Ben has a love for space, and his voice, clear and sparkling like a perfect night sky, will inspire you to share that love.

Hailing from Mountain Lakes, NJ, Maxwell is a bass boasting a truly impressive lower range. Maxwell’s wonderful musicality also includes playing the piano, flute, and some guitar. On campus, you’ll most likely see Maxwell wearing a cool hoodie from his ever-growing collection while working on something ECE related (his major!), as he’s an aspiring quantum-computing scientist/genius. Off campus, however, who knows where Maxwell’s sense of adventure will take him? He’s already been to 5, almost 6, continents and is looking out for a skydiving opportunity. Do contact him about this - serious offers only.

Introducing soprano Rachel Edelstein! Aside from her amazing range, she is a master percussionist. She can play complex rhythms with her hands on the drum set, snare drum, bass drum, and timpani, as well as many forms of mallet/auxiliary percussion. She can also play rhythms with her feet as a tap dancer! Hailing from Long Island, Rachel is an Ecology and Evolutionary Biology major with a certificate in Global Health Policy. You can catch Rachel listening to anything from Broadway hits to Ed Sheeran, or Jazz to R20 covers while drinking warm tea.

Hailing from Delray Beach, Florida, alto Sophia plays the French Horn and writes for the Humor section of the Daily Prince. When she was a kid, she wanted to be a professional athlete, but now she’s an astrophysics major studying large objects in space (including her gargantuan ego). In 2013, Sophia shared a foot doctor with Serena Williams, which has led to her intense love of playing tennis and swearing every time she misses a shot. Sophia’s dream in life is to cure her insufferable body odor, which has been described as both “baby diaper” and “dumpster.”

Amira, our amiable alto, bridges the vibrancy of New York and the charm of West Windsor, NJ. Armed with a COS AB degree and a flair for French culture, she crafts harmonies as intricate as her crocheted masterpieces. From conquering climbing walls to capturing fleeting moments through her camera lens, her creativity knows no bounds. A clarinetist since grade 5, music is her heartbeat. Outside of R20, she's a culinary adventurer, embracing spicy cuisines and the comfort of tea. With every note, every dish, Amira radiates passion, making her a cherished member of our ensemble.

Alto Angela hails from Los Angeles, CA. If you can’t get enough of her singing in R20, you can hear her velvety voice in the Princeton Playhouse Choir or singing musical theater songs in a Bloomberg stairwell. A physics major of many talents, Angela also dances in Triple 8 and diSiac, and does research in a biophysics lab. For those hoping to win her over, try cooking her Korean food! Her favorites are kimchi jjigae and barbecue.

Kevin is an aspiring Mathematician from New Jersey who loves sine and cosine waves so much that he decides to body roll spontaneously during rehearsal. He is a tactful, tasty tenor that loves to sing with a tone as rich as Princeton. Before he entered R20, he had spent his free time break dancing with Sympoh, although now he can bust it down to his own singing. When he is not in rehearsal, you will find him sleeping at ungodly hours or grooming his luscious, long eyelashes. In fact, a way to win him over would be to have longer, more extravagant eyelashes than him. Or you can also give him some eclairs.

An English major from NYC, Natasha is our token humanities major. She is truly a bookworm at heart; she took the HUM sequence and even has her own bookstore merch collection. Natasha's also a violin virtuoso who plays in the PUO, and she especially loves Beethoven's string quartets. She loves chocolate and her grumpy fluffy cat named Wally.

Born and raised in Long Island, New York, Simon is a masterful Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering major with his eyes set on the stars. If his low bass notes don’t get you shaking in your boots, his caring and go-with-the-flow vibe will shock you after the fact! His life is in fact an oxymoron – he may look like a macho man when lifting weights, but he also enjoys sitting on the beach and reading novels. He’s been singing all throughout high school, creating his own doo-wop acapella group as well! At Princeton, he is locked in (and sleep-deprived) towards his goal of reach the stars while working on CAD for Rocketry club.

Blesson is a blessing in disguise - you just don’t know it yet! Long Island-grown, Blesson’s been a singer all his life ever since his church’s children's choir (and it shows!). When he’s not gaming on his dorm’s Wii or spiking on the badminton courts, you can see him grinding out his Physics PSETs (physics/astro major? Wowzers!!!). He’s a big fan of Star Wars, and I suppose his whole family is as well, given by his last name (imagine his kid being named Kylo!).

Our lovely Amelia, hailing from Longmeadow, MA, is an economics major and a fabulous soprano with a voice that you want to play in your ear forever. Her musical talent is unmatched - she has an insane range, she's a violinist, and on top of all of that she's a walking pitch pipe. When she's not belting out insane riffs at reho, she's tearing up the rugby field as R20's only current D1 athlete. Do not get on her bad side: she can tackle with extreme precision and technique.

Meet Sol, our native Seattleite. Although he peaked in 4th grade with a killer choir solo, he has decided to continue reliving his glory days with R20. When he’s not shaking the room with his rich bass tones, you can find him splitting his time between dominating the virtual gridiron in Madden and hitting the courts for some club tennis. As an intended computer science major, Sol is always optimizing for that high paying job, while sacrificing showers and deodorant usage.

Ella, a spectacular soprano, hails from NY(ack), NY. The definition of multitalented, she plays soccer and viola, sings in musicals, and plans to major in EEB. She is also very tall, befitting her celestial voice. Future aspirations include starring in Hadestown, teaching (torturing) sleep-deprived Princeton students biology, and marrying Jake Peralta.
